It is possible to transfer data from another electronic electronic solution to ensure that your data within the app is as accurate as possible.
It is highly recommended to make a backup of any existing logbook data before importing any old data.
We also suggest that you import data early on in your use of Aviator Logbook. This will prevent as much as possible duplicates being created in the database.
First you will need to export data from your previous logbook in the correct format. Supported external solutions are listed here, tap the relevant one to find out how to export data:
Once you have the export file(s) saved on your device on in your cloud storage, from the Import/export data page:
Select the relevant data source from the dropdown list and tap File(s) to select the files you wish to import.
Choose whether the imported data should replace all data currently saved in your logbook.
Tap Import logbook data to begin the import process. Bear in mind that this can take a couple of minutes if you have a large amount of data. Tapping Cancel any time will revert any changes to your logbook data.
If you have previously made a backup using Aviator Logbook, you can restore this here. This will overwrite all data with the information contained in the backup file.
Simply tap Restore backup from the Settings page and select the backup file. The backup file is in the .zip format.
