Here you can find out how to export data for your own records or to transfer to another electronic logbook solution. Also discover how to create a backup of your data.

Export CSV/Excel file

Exporting a copy of your logbook data is simple; navigate to the Import/export data page. From there you can export the data in the required format. Exporting in Excel format is recommended if you wish to keep a copy of the data on your own device.

It is possible to import these documents into Aviator Logbook again using the import function. However, for the greatest accuracy it is better to create a backup as demonstrated below and restore this instead if required.

Create backup

On the Settings page, tapping Create backup will compress all of your data into an encrypted, password-protected .zip file which can later be restored within the app if required. Restoring a backup is the most accurate way of importing data back in to the app.
