Here we will show you how to add custom currencies and limitations to your logbook, to ensure you're always flying legally.
Here we will show you how to add custom currencies and limitations to your logbook, to ensure you're always flying legally.
Currencies are something that have a minimum requirement, limitations are something that have a maximum limit. Both use data from your logbook to tell you whether you are on the right side of these restrictions. For example:
You might have a requirement for 3 landings every 90 days. This would be a currency, and would be displayed by showing the number of current landing in the last 90 days, both in numeric and chart form, and colour-coded to tell you whether this requirement has been met.
Alternatively, perhaps you are only allowed 90 block hours each calendar month. This is then a limitation, and is displayed exactly the same way, only with the warning colours reversed.
Both currencies and limitations can be added the same way, by tapping the button in the upper right corner, which will launch the 'New currency/limitation' screen. Enter a custom name, and set the requirements as needed. Finally, tap in the upper right corner to save the new currency/limitation, or tap in the upper left corner to return to the previous screen without adding anything.
Currencies and limitations can be edited by swiping the item to the right, and then tapping on the revealed button, or deleted by swiping the item to the left and tapping on the revealed button.
