Learn how to edit your account information and delete your account and all data.
Setting a profile image
It is possible to set a profile image using Gravatar. This is a service that allows you to associate a profile image with your email address, which can then be shown automatically across many different apps and websites. More information about Gravatar, including how to set up your profile, can be found here.
Managing your subscription
On the Manage subscription page you can view information regarding your current subscription. If you have not purchased a plan, you will be on the free 'Launch' tier. This tier comes with certain limitations, you can find more details here. Once you are ready to upgrade to a paid subscription, tap View subscription options to take a look at the options available.
Your subscription is automatically tied to your Aviator Logbook account. That means regardless of whether you purchase the subscription via the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store, it will be valid across all of your devices. Once you have purchased a subscription, you will be able to view the length remaining on the Manage subscription page. Tapping Manage subscription will take you to the App Store or Play Store on your device where you can upgrade, downgrade or cancel your subscription.
We are unable to manage subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store on your behalf. If you need to cancel your subscription, please follow the process detailed by Apple.
Edit your profile
You can manage your account information by navigating to Settings from the main menu and then tapping Edit profile beneath your account information.
It is not possible to change the email address associated with your account.
Reset your password
Tapping Reset password and confirming will invalidate your current password, and send you an email with instructions on setting a new one. Once you have done this, you will need to sign in once again.
Delete your account
If you wish to delete your account and all associated data stored on our servers, tap Delete account. On the next screen, after a short delay to allow you to read the contents, tap Delete account again at the bottom of the page. This will delete your account from our server, all associated data, and will delete your data from our subscription management service.
Deleting your account is irreversible! You will not be able to recover your data after this, therefore we strongly recommend both making a backup which will enable you to quickly restore your data within Aviator Logbook again, and exporting a copy of your data in either CSV or Excel format for later use.
